The ADF100B-B05TA1-BS03-B2N1 model represents the state of the art design and development of Rexroth Indramat. The motor can be mounted to the machine in any desired mounting position but when it is mounted in IM V3 orientation, the liquid must be prevented from collecting at the output shaft over a longer period of time. The AC main spindle motor provides resistance against ingress of dirt and low-pressure water jets due to its IP 65 protection category. The motor takes AC 220V electrical connection from the drive controller. The AC main spindle motor generates the continuous power of 8.5 kW while operating at the continuous current of 45 A at the speed of 2000 rpm. The motor runs at the maximum speed of 9000 rpm with a standard bearing which makes it suitable to use with printing machines, textile machines, and tool machines.

The model ADF100B-B05TA1-BS03-B2N1 is equipped with a shaft with an entire key (without shaft sealing rings) for delivering the continuous torque of 40 Nm at the output shaft. The model uses water as a coolant for liquid cooling purposes. The minimum flow rate of the coolant is 2 l/min with a pressure drop of 0.2 bar. The motor provides maintenance-free operation and the net weight of the motor is 64 kg. The rotor position is measured by a high-resolution encoder which generates signals to the drive about the regulating speed and rotor position. The motor takes electrical connection through an A-side power connector which is located at the top of the motor. The permissible temperature range for the motor is +5 to +45 degree Celsius.
