The storage environment must be dry and dust free. The motor must be protected from severe shocks during storage. Bosch recommends storing the motor in a horizontal position. Operators must not remove the plastic sleeves that provide protection to the connector housing and motor shaft because they provide strong protection against mechanical damage and moisture. High leakage currents from the motor pose a serious threat of injury.
