2AD100C-B05OB2-AS03-A2N2/S003 is an advanced servo motor. When not in use, it must be kept in an environment where the temperature is between -20 to +80 degrees Celsius. The storage environment must be dry and dust free. The motor must be protected from severe shocks during storage. Bosch recommends storing the motor in a horizontal position. Operators must not remove the plastic sleeves that provide protection to the connector housing and motor shaft because they provide strong protection against mechanical damage and moisture. High leakage currents from the motor pose a serious threat of injury. Therefore, before powering up, the protective conductor must be connected to the power supply unit, the drive controller and to the electrical equipment. The leakage current can exceed 3.5 milliamps. Therefore, the protective conductor must be connected at all times, even for short tests.
To prevent bodily injury, suitable mounting and transport equipment must be used. The 2AD100C-B05OB2-AS03-A2N2/S003 is servo motor with high-resolution feedback support. It is suited to flange mounting and is equipped with a 200 millimeter flange with 14 millimeter diameter mounting holes. The plain motor shaft with 32 millimeter diameter is not equipped with a shaft seal. A motor controller supplies power for the AC servo motor.
