With an output torque rating of 590 Nm, the 2AD225C-B35OB1-AS06-D2V1 from Rexroth is a great option for industrial automation, especially in the induction servo motor range. This high-speed servo motor comes with an all-metal design that can bear heavy loads easily and can also withstand various environmental conditions that may affect the build of the motor; however, in this case, the motor comes completely sealed with a sealant paint that shields the body against oxidation.
This motor can be used in the locked rotor configuration as it can provide up to 520 Nm of locked rotor torque and can draw up to 210 Amperes of current. To ensure the motor does not get affected too much by rising temperatures, the 2AD225C-B35OB1-AS06-D2V1 comes with thermal insulation that ensures this servo motor can withstand temperatures of up to 170 degrees Celsius even in the case of fire. It is recommended by the manufacturer to install this motor in a well-ventilated area to ensure regulated cooling within the motor housing to help keep the coil within the permissible operating temperature range.
