The 2AD225C-B35OA2-AS03-A2V2 can be used in various applications, including robotics used in industrial manufacturing, thanks to its low inertia design that offers a rotor inertia of 0.0012 kgm² along with a maximum rotation speed of 4500 rpm. This motor can provide serious rotational torque, helping rotate heavy load mechanisms, including high gear ratio gearbox systems, where the rotational torque rating is 592 Nm. In comparison, at standstill mode, the rotational torque offered by the servo motor is of 520 Nm with a current requirement of 210 Nm.
This motor is IP 65 certified, which provides a level 6 protection against dust particles as small as 2 mm and also helps prevent scratches on the surface of the motor housing as deep as 0.2 mm. The level 5 water protection rating helps prevent moisture from being built up inside the motor housing, and users can wash the motor with a low-pressure water jet, making maintenance much easier. Speaking of maintenance, this servo motor should be maintained after every 25000 cycles of use to ensure high performance throughout.
