2AD164B-B05OB1-BS0D-C2N1 is a squirrel-cage motor from Bosch Rexroth’s 2AD series. Motors from this series support axial or radial cooling fans, have support for two mounting options, and can feature holding brakes. In addition, the main shaft can be smooth or keyed with multiple balancing options for keyed shafts. Depending upon requirements, operators can select from two types of bearings. Options for power input include a junction box or a power plug. Location of the power connection on the motor housing is also selectable. A power plug provides the power connection on the 2AD164B-B05OB1-BS0D-C2N1 motor. Its location is on the top and towards side B of the unit. This motor is supplied with an axial blower. Axial blowers move air parallel to the motor’s axis of rotation: the airflow enters and exits in the same direction as the shaft.
