Bosch manufactured the 2AD160C-B35OR2-BS03-D2V1 flange-mounted AC servo motor as part of their 2AD 3-Phase Induction Motors line. This motor is rated to provide around 12 kW of power, which makes it good for tough industrial automation jobs. It runs at a rated speed of 2000 rpm and can provide a rated torque of 57 Nm when running normally. When it is not running, the continuous torque goes up to 200 Nm and the continuous current goes up to 81.7 A. The motor needs a minimum power connection cross-section of 25 mm² and employs blower cooling to maintain its temperature and dependability.

The rotor's moment of inertia is set at 0.174 kgm², which helps it work smoothly and reliably even when it speeds up and slows down quickly. If the required position is not reached, meaning that the control system's positioning instruction is not carried out correctly or at all, yet the controller or control device does not show an error, there are a number of possible reasons for this.
