2AD160C-B35LB2-BS11/S001 is a high-performance AC motor. 2AD motors from Bosch feature a number of standard features that are optimized for industrial control. In addition, there are several options operators can select to match motor configuration to applications. For mounting, there are two selectable options: flange and foot/flange. The required option must be selected at ordering. Another feature that must be selected at ordering is the power connection location. Two types of blowers – radial and axial – are available for 2AD160 motors. Three options are available for the holding brake. Two types of shafts are available and both can be ordered with or without a seal. For keyed shafts, operators can select the type of balancing. 2AD motors are designed to handle different vibration severity levels, and operators can select from one of the three options.

Two options are also available for the type of motor bearings. 2AD160C-B35LB2-BS11/S001 is a motor with the foot/flange mounting option. Its power connection (terminal box) is on the left. The motor is cooled by an axial blower, which helps to maintain ambient temperature between 0 and 45 ⁰C. The electrically-engaged optional holding brake installed on the 2AD160C-B35LB2-BS11/S001 motor prevents accidents and injuries when the motor power is disconnected.
