With a high-resolution encoder attached, the 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS43-A2N1 is a premiere option for industrial-level robotics. This AC servo motor comes with digital servo feedback that uses serial communication to transfer position values of the shaft over to the motor control module using the RS 232 or RS 485 communication method. The features of the encoder include a rotation resolution of 1048 increments where the complete rotating is broken down into 1048 small points that ensure accurate positioning of the motor shaft. For tracking the shaft multiple times in a row, the encoder can also track up to 4096 rotations.
This motor is designed to generate moderate levels of torque for up to 140 Nm and requires a current draw of 54 amperes. The motor is also designed for locked rotor mode where the shaft is locked in a particular position and the torque that it can generate is around 151 Nm with a current draw of 60 amperes in locked rotor configuration.
