The Indramat 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS23-B3N1 asynchronous induction motor is a high-performance spindle solution for machine tools and automation. As the largest frame size “D” in the 2AD series, it offers 22kW power value and 140Nm of torque, with an inertia of 118×10⁻³ kgm² for responsive control. Base speed is 1,500 RPM, extendable to 5x the original value for high-speed applications.
Electrical requirements include 290V supply voltage & over 50A current, necessitating 16mm² wiring of the cross-section for safety. Cooling relies on an axial blower directing airflow from point B to point A, requiring 170VA (at max) power and 1,000 m³/h airflow. The motor’s 135kg weight and 75 dB(A) noise level align with industrial standards, supported by F-class insulation and R-grade vibration resistance. Operational limits include 45°C temperature tolerance, while the B35 mounting allows flexible installation via flange or foot.
