This asynchronous induction spindle motor from Indramat’s 2AD series is engineered for high-torque, high-speed applications in machine tools, CNC systems, and industrial automation. The unit 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS07-C2N1 is available in the largest frame size, which is “D.” The power output of this motor is 22kW. The rotor inertia stands at an impressive 118x10-3kgm2. Also, the rated torque value for the unit is 140Nm. While the standard velocity of the motor is 1,500 RPM, this speed becomes 7,500min-1 (or 5x the value) at max settings.
