With a high vibration severity grade R that ensures this motor is able to absorb high levels of vibrations, the 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS03-B2V2 from Rexroth is a high-speed servo motor that can reach a peak speed of 7500 rpm. To ensure the motor does not wobble too much, this servo comes with a centering diameter of 250 mm and features a balanced smooth and straight shaft design that helps spread out the weight equally on its shaft of the attached component.
This servo motor comes with two modes of operation, the Normal Duty and the Heavy Duty mode. Under Normal Duty mode, this servo motor is able to rotate at 1500 rotations per minute and can generate a rotational torque of 140 Nm. In the Heavy Duty mode, this servo motor is able to rotate at a speed of 7500 rpm and can generate a torque of 170 Nm. The reason this motor can offer such high speeds and a high response time is due to its low inertia design of 0.118 kgm².
Since this motor functions really fast, it can dissipate a lot of heat. To help with cooling, the 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS03-B2V2 comes with an axial blower fan that helps draw in air from the environment and pushes it out the front of the motor, cooling the copper coil in the process.
