Designed to operate high torque gearbox systems that are used to scale up the rotation torque of the connected motor, the 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS03-B2V1 from Rexroth is a 140 Nm servo motor that comes with winding designation code AS. This winding designation code corresponds to a winding that has a resistance rating of 13.5 ohms, allowing good flow of current with low hindrance, as well as 57.6 mH of winding inductance to help the flow of current from the supply by eliminating or depressing high-frequency signals.
The motor has power requirements of 290 volts AC at 54 amperes of current draw, allowing this motor to convert it to a power of 22 kW, enabling this servo to operate to its full potential and provide a high power output along with a high level of performance. This motor comes with a 47 mm thick shaft design and is a plain shaft that does not require a shaft keyway and can simply perform the torque transmission action without needing a special mechanical component. The shaft comes with a seal ring around the diameter of the motor enclosure, creating a barrier between the internals and the outside environment. The centering diameter of this servo motor is 250 mm.
This servo motor comes with a 100 Nm holding brake module attached to help block the shaft of the servo from moving when not needed. The holding brake requires 24 volts to operate and has a voltage tolerance of 10%. This braking unit is electrically released and has a release delay of 113 ms, while the clamping delay for this motor is longer due to safety reasons and is around 140 ms.
