Product Description:
With a high-resolution feedback system on board to ensure accuracy and precision, the 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS03-B2N2 from Rexroth's 2AD series is a servo that comes with an incremental encoder with 2048 increments resolution for one single rotation. This single-turn incremental encoder uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface for communication, ensuring an encrypted data transmission over to the motor control module or over a network using the right kind of network communication protocol.
The 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS03-B2N2 has some highlighted features, one of which is its torque generation capability of 140 Nm at nominal. This motor series is not only known for its moderately high torque production but is also able to generate peak speed for rotation of up to 7500 rpm. With the help of back EMF generated by this servo motor of 107 volts per 1000 rpm, the 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS03-B2N2 is able to control it's speed, as this back EMF is used by the tacho feedback system present in the servo motor to control and regulate the speed of the servo motor by keeping it within the setpoint.
This motor can be installed in various climates and environments, as it is able to withstand most environmental conditions, partly due to the Ingress Protection rating that it features of IP 67, making sure that this servo motor is able to not only keep itself protected from dust particles but also keep it safe from moisture and humid climates. The extra layer of protection is added by the shaft seal ring, which prevents anything inside the motor enclosure from seeping out, especially lubrication oil. The motor comes with high-speed self-lubricating ball bearings that ensure smooth rotation of the rotor shaft by helping reduce mechanical friction.
