The Rexroth 2AD servo motors are designed for various types of applications ranging from high torque robotics to high-speed drilling used in lathe and CNC carving machines. The 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS03-A3N1 is one of the great examples of this series as it comes with a base speed rating of 1500 rpm but due to its low inertia of 0.118 kgm², allows this servo motor to attain a maximum speed of 7500 rpm in a matter of milliseconds. The torque output also has varying ranges going from 140 Nm all the way up to 156 Nm at the highest speed of rotation.
To power the motor, the 2AD132D-B35OA1-AS03-A3N1 requires an operating input voltage of 290 volts AC with a 3-phase input configuration along with an input voltage frequency of 47 to 63 Hz that ensures that this servo motor is able to operate on various systems with the same frequency. Each phase of the input supply is responsible for powering each pole pair on the rotor side of the servo, as this motor comes with 3 pole pairs (6 poles).
