Product Description:

The 2AD132D-B35LA3-AS33-B3N1 is a 2AD servo motor from Rexroth, designed for applications such as packaging systems, manufacturing machines, conveyor belts, machine tools, and industrial robotics. This motor is great with operating gearbox systems to ensure the multiplication of torques for high-torque heavy machinery, as this motor alone can provide an output torque of 140 Nm. This motor requires 217 volts AC to operate with a 3-phase input that can be configured using both a star or delta connection, based on how much of the input current of 80 amperes is required at the startup of the motor.

To ensure this servo motor does not vibrate too much during high-speed rotation of 7500 rpm, the 2AD132D-B35LA3-AS33-B3N1 comes with a reinforced structure for its enclosure that helps dampen the vibration inside the motor and also ensures the load on the shaft of the motor remains balanced to help prevent wobbling during high-speed rotations that may cause the motor to be dismantled during operation. The load on the shaft ensures the motor shaft does not bend or break by keeping the shaft balanced.

This servo motor also comes with an electrically released heavy-duty brake mechanism that provides a holding torque of 100 Nm. This holding brake has a nominal input voltage rating of 24 volts DC with 10% tolerance to the input voltage and can draw up to 1.8 amperes of current when engaged. The peak speed this brake can be engaged at is 7500 rpm to ensure that it does not break under high rotational torque of the motor shaft. The release delay of the clamp is 110 ms, while the engagement delay of the brake is 70 ms.
