The 2AD132C-B35RB2-BS03-A2V1 from Rexroth is a high-power servo motor with a power rating of 10kW. This servo motor is designed for high-speed applications as it can generate a maximum speed rating of 7500 rotations per minute while consuming 39 amperes of current at an operating voltage of 279 volts AC. This motor comes with an all-metal chassis design with an insulation layer to prevent this motor housing from being corroded due to oxidation, keeping the performance of this motor in line.
This motor is designed to be mounted using either a compatible flange or a foot mounting option, keeping the motor in a stable and sturdy position. The maximum height this motor is designed for is 1000 meters above sea level which ensures this motor remains operational under the rated conditions. For altitudes higher than 1000 meters, this servo motor may operate under derated conditions and cause this motor to generate a speed of 1000 rpm, which is also the derating speed of this servo motor, and may also not follow the required rated operating conditions.
The BS03 configuration in this servo motor translates to this motor featuring the BS type winding, which is the coil winding with a resistance of around 0.81 ohms that allows the motor to draw appropriate amounts of current from the supply to ensure efficient transmission of power to the motor coils. While this coil also has an inductance of 1.2 mH which smooths out the spikes level in the power supply being transmitted to the coils of the servo motor to ensure a smooth supply of input voltage to the 3 poles of the servo motor and to ensure efficient operation.
