Rexroth Bosch's 2AD132C-B35OA1-BS01/S015 motor has a flange or foot mounting style which is denoted by B35. The flange and foot mounting are two forms of installation used in the arrangement of motors and other rotary devices in the industrial system. Each of these mounting styles has various advantages based on the diverse applications. Flange mounting is the process of coupling the motor to a surface that aids in correct orientation. This style is useful in those applications where the position of the motor has to be fixed. Its flange design also permits direct installation into the equipment in various areas, particularly in compact locations. It also minimizes vibrations and increases the strength of the motor.
