Product Description:
Part of the 2AD series of servo motors, the 2AD132C-B05OR1-BS03-A2N1 is a 65 Amperes servo motor with a power rating of 15 kW. This motor requires 167 volts of AC operating voltage and has a 3-pole configuration. Each pole can be excited with a voltage of varying frequency to regulate the speed of the motor; however, the frequency of the input voltage should be between 50 Hz to 60 Hz to remain within the recommended operating conditions of this motor.
This motor is designed to provide a base speed of 1500 rpm while the maximum peak speed this motor can provide is 7500 rpm. The motor comes with standard-type bearings which can easily allow this motor to function at such high speeds without affecting the performance of the motor; however, they must be lubricated periodically to function properly. The 2AD132C-B05OR1-BS03-A2N1 supports a flange mounting option which helps keep the motor perfectly aligned and stable reducing the vibration in the system and keeping the shaft alignment perfectly stable reducing stress on the shaft.
To enhance the motor feedback system, the 2AD132C-B05OR1-BS03-A2N1 comes with a high-resolution feedback system to accurately and precisely position the shaft of the motor and to allow the motor to regulate the speed keeping it well within a setpoint. The smooth shaft on this motor is perfect for aligning it with the gears of the gearboxes where it is installed allowing the gears to easily slide onto the shaft of the motor without the need for a keyway slot. The motor is IP 65 rated but it also comes with a shaft seal ring to prevent the lubrication oil from spilling outside of the motor.
