Designed to provide a torque of 140 Nm nominal, the 2AD132C-B05OR1-AS01/S001 from Rexroth is a perfect industrial servo motor that can be used for both high torque applications as well as high-speed applications as it can attain a maximum speed of 7500 rpm. This servo motor is part of the 2AD series of motors that have a size of 132 mm and frame length of size C allowing it to be installed in confined spaces easily. The motor is heavy; weighing around 135 kg, and may be moved using weight-lifting equipment.
This motor uses a Flange mount to mount the motor onto rotating equipment as it is a much more stable form of mounting, keeping the alignment centered, and preventing the shaft from breaking or bending by reducing axial stress. To operate this motor, the 2AD132C-B05OR1-AS01/S001 requires 290 volts AC to operate with a 3-phase input configuration, and the input operating voltage frequency should be between 50 Hz to 60 Hz; however, to change the speed of the rotation or to regulate it, the phase voltage can be applied with varying frequency levels to alter the speed but should remain within the specified frequency range of 50 Hz to 60 Hz.
