The 2AD132C-B05OB1-BS03-B2V1 is an asynchronous motor manufactured by Rexroth Bosch. The asynchronous motors are also known as the induction motor. These motors work under the electromagnetic induction principle. It consists of two key components; a stationary part (stator) and a rotating part (rotor). When AC passes via the stator, it produces a rotary magnetic field. When the stator induces the magnetic field, torque is generated and it rotates the rotor. Unlike in synchronous motors, the rotor of an asynchronous motor is never in phase with the stator thus the named asynchronous.
