Rexroth Bosch's 2AD132C-B05OB1-BS03-B2N1 is an industrial motor, which is designed for high-performance industrial applications. It contains several distinguishing features like the motor size, mounting style, position of the blower and how it connects to the power supply. This motor has a top-position power connection denoted by O. This connection is relatively advantageous for industrial use in different applications. It is established with overhead cable routing which makes wiring simple. Featuring the power connection on top, it makes it possible for the operators to access the terminal box to do wiring, therefore minimizing the time and effort needed to install the cables.
The copper wire protects against dust and fluids, reducing the risk of damage to power connections. Mounted at the top position, it enhances motor strength and reduces maintenance frequency. Cables are installed by operators in terminal blocks, and properly earthed to reduce electrical risks during the motor's operation. This motor is without a holding brake. It means that the motor shaft is not locked when power is removed. In many industrial applications, holding brakes are added to the motors, because the shaft needs to stop when the motor is off. However, in this motor, there is no brake and the shaft can rotate even when there is no power being supplied to the motor.

This motor does not have a holding brake, which results in continuous operation for applications where the motor shaft does not need to remain locked when not in use.
