With a balanced shaft keyway design special option, the 2AD132C-B05OA2-BS03/S001 from Rexroth is a 1500 rpm AC servo motor. This servo motor is part of the 2AD AC servo motor lineup that comes with 3 poles. These poles help generate electromagnetic fields that enable the rotor of the motor to reach high speeds of up to 7500 rpm. To control the speed of the motor shaft, the input voltages at these 3 poles are adjusted to regulate the motor speed. The input voltage range of this motor is set between 160 to 168 volts AC and requires an input voltage frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz.
To keep the motor well protected from hazardous environments, the 2AD132C-B05OA2-BS03/S001 comes with an IP 65 protection rating that not only protects it from particles with up to 2 mm length but also prevents low-level water splashes and scratches up to 0.2 mm deep.
