Rexroth Bosch's asynchronous motor or induction motor 2AD132C-B05OA1-BS03-B2N1 is the most common motor used in industries. This motor is an electromagnetic induction type and this motor does not need any connection with the revolving part, that is the rotor of the motor. An asynchronous motor consists of two main parts; the stator part where the magnetic field stays still and the rotor, the part that rotates. When an electrical current is passed through the stator it will develop a revolving magnetic field. This magnetic field generates a current in the rotor thus making it rotate. In an asynchronous motor construction, the rotor always runs slower than the rotating magnetic field in the stator and this difference in speed is referred to as slip.
