Part of 2AD Asynchronous AC motors, the 2AD132B-B35OR2-BS13/S001 is a 1500 rpm AC motor that can provide a rotational torque of up to 96 Nm while operating at an input voltage of 168 volts AC in a 3-phase input voltage configuration. Since this motor has a maximum power rating of 15 kW, it draws approximately 45 Amperes of current. It requires a heavy-duty power supply unit capable of delivering such high current values. To keep the servo motors cool, the MAD series of servo motors come with an axial blower fan designed to regulate air within the motor’s chassis. For optimal performance, the ambient temperature where the motor is installed should be between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius with a humidity rating between 5 to 95%. Rexroth recommends placing the motor in an open area to allow easier air intake, creating a healthy airflow channel without any blockages.
