Part of the 2AD Asynchronous servo motor series, the 2AD132B-B35OB1-DS03-D2N1 is a size B servo motor with a 132 mm centering diameter, making the servo motor sleek and cylindrical in design. This motor weighs 90 kg and can be mounted using flange mounting or foot mounting depending on the application it is being used for. This motor has a base speed of 1500 rpm and a peak speed rating of 7500 rpm.
To reduce overall vibration in the motor, Rexroth has designed the shaft of the 2AD132B-B35OB1-DS03-D2N1 to be fully balanced and also provide a reinforced motor chassis that can absorb vibrations and prevent the motor from wobbling, causing the motor parts to break. The chassis of this motor is IP 65 protected and also comes with a shaft seal preventing dust particles from entering the front of the motor and also preventing any lubrication oil from leaking out of the enclosure of the motor, drying them out and making it difficult for the motor to spin.
This motor is designed to operate in an environment with an ambient temperature between 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius, and to prevent the motor from overheating, this motor comes with an internal axial fan that has a voltage rating of 400 to 460 volts AC and an airflow rate of 1000 meter cubes of air per hour. The motor has a Thermal time constant of 45 minutes, which is the time it takes for the motor to reach 36% of the average operating temperature of this motor. Installing this motor in a well-ventilated room is always recommended and at a maximum height of 1000 m.
