Part of Asynchronous motors from the 2AD series of Servo motors from Rexroth Bosch Electric, the 2AD132B-B35OB1-DS01-B2V1 is a perfect motor for high speed and medium torque applications. This motor has a nominal speed of 1500 rotations per minute, which can further reach a speed of 7500 rotations per minute making it perfect for drilling applications. The motor can also provide a rotational torque of 64 Nm, making it a good option for applications that require low to medium rotational torques.
This motor comes with a digital high-resolution encoder for accurate positioning of the motor shaft during operation. However, it does not feature a blocking brake to prevent the shaft from moving when motion is not required. The main purpose of the blocking brake is to prevent the shaft from freely rotating during power loss and also to prevent it from slipping during high torque rotations, which may cause the motor to start skipping, affecting the encoder count and therefore affecting the feedback data to the motor controller.
The 2AD132B-B35OB1-DS01-B2V1 comes with a balanced shaft key which is necessary for high torque rotations to prevent the load from being uneven and to prevent the shaft from bending. This motor does not feature shaft sealing, but does come with an IP 65 rating to prevent dust and water from entering the motor enclosure. The shaft sealing's main purpose is to prevent dust from entering the motor housing from the shaft end and also to prevent the lubrication oil from spilling during operation. With the help of very high-speed motor bearings, the 2AD132B-B35OB1-DS01-B2V1 can easily attain high speeds of up to 7500 rpm.
