This particular AC motor is of 2AD series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth and the model number is 2AD132B-B35OB1-BS03-D2N1 >.This series features a variety of premium induction motors designed for high end applications only. These motors are known for their heavy duty construction and integral blower housed within the same assembly. These applications get the benefit of the motor's fine speed and output, as well as its high efficiency. This versatility is mainly due to the fact that the motors are known to provide accurate, reliable and constant operations within many industrial environments.
This motor has power of 64 Nm of torque and works with a current of 455 A in rating. It comes with a base speed of 1500 rpm and has the ability of attaining a maximum speed of 7500 rpm. Having 10 kW of nominal power, this motor is capable of providing a solution to numerous industrial applications. The motor is of frame shape B35, which means flange and foot mounting, to provide steadfast support. For cooling, the motor has an axial blower which works at the voltage of 170V. The blower as an integral part of the motor design controls the flow of air from the B side of the motor to the A side of the motor in order to control the temperature of the motor and hence control the optimal working conditions of the motor.
Besides mechanical reliability, the motor utilizes a digital servo feedback system with sensors, encoders included. These sensors translate the mechanical movement of the servo motor into electrical signals which are in turn analyzed by the drive controller in order to regulate the position, velocity and torque of the motor in question with a high degree of accuracy.
