Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth 2AD132B-B35OA2-BS03-A2N1 induction motor from the renowned 2AD series is multitalented and reliable as it is mainly applied as servo drive motor and rotary main spindle motor. This motor has an axial blower that blows air currents through certain channels across the surface of the motor from the A side to the B side thus cooling it. In order to guarantee sufficient air flow required for cooling, Bosch Rexroth suggests that the minimum distance between the blower and any other surface should be 80 mm.
For the cases where there is a presence of fluids in the air such as spraying or dripping, the manufacturer recommends the use of labyrinth seal to increase protection and it is also important to note that the motor does not come with a shaft seal. But, a sealing shaft is provided as an optional accessory. In addition, the motor is provided with a keyway on the output shaft which is a taper type. Interestingly, this model does not have an electrically released holding brake.
The motor has a standard deep groove ball bearing for bearing support with the vibration severity standard of R. This type of bearing is suitable for the medium axial and radial load carrying capacity and provides longer service life and easy availability and hence makes it suitable for use in various industries.
It is to be noted that the motor is intended to work in the temperature range of 0 to 45 degrees C and is best suitable for installation at altitudes of up to 1000 meters above the sea level. Operation of the motor should however not be done beyond these given parameters since it may lead to reduced efficiency, reliability and overall performance due to deviations from the intended load factors.
