The 2AD132B-B35OA1-BS03-A3N1 is a highly durable asynchronous induction AC motor from the Bosch Rexroth's 2AD series. This series comprises high end asynchronous induction motors designed for heavy duty applications. These motors have a very strong construction and they have their blower units in a fixed manner thus making them very durable and reliable. They can be used in different fields, where they can carry and manage large loads, control movements with high accuracy and operate in conditions that are adverse. This motor is mainly employed in machine tools such as lathe and milling machines where accuracy and closed loop feedback control is required. This makes it a versatile tool to use in the different industrial applications which guarantees both precision and speed.

The motor comes with a torque of 64 Nm and has an electric current of 45A in its operation and has a power consumption of 10 kW. The B35 frame type has been incorporated in the design and this has made it have flange and foot mounting and this makes it easy to install and also reduce the chances of damaging it. The cooling is done through an axial blower which draws power from 115 volts making sure there is a proper flow of air from side B to side A to ensure the motor does not overheat. Importantly, this model does not have an electrically released holding brake built into its structure. However, it has high-resolution motor feedback that enables it to detect relative indirect position with high degree of accuracy. The output shaft of the current design has a plain output shaft with no shaft sealing.
