With a horsepower of up to 29.5 hp, the 2AD132B-B05OB1-AD01/S099 is a 1500 rpm AC servo motor designed and developed by Rexroth, part of their 2AD Asynchronous servo lineup. This motor has a special S099 keyway option, which allows it to attach a coupler to its shaft with the help of a butterfly shaft key to prevent the coupler from slipping during operation. The coupler design makes this motor an ideal choice for transmitting torque to other rotating components.
To rotate the motor at a peak speed of 7500 rpm, the 2AD132B-B05OB1-AD01/S099 comes with high-speed bearings that allow the motor to rotate smoothly with low to no friction. Rexroth recommends servicing its motors after every 30,000 cycles of use to keep the rotating components in good shape, preventing damage from wear. This motor can be mounted using a foot mount on a stable base, as this type of mounting allows the motor to reduce overall vibration by keeping it stable.
To keep the motor cool, the 2AD132B-B05OB1-AD01/S099 features a 230V AC blower fan placed on the rear of the motor, which helps blow cool air to maintain the temperature of the motor coils for high performance.
