Product Description:
The 2AD132B-B05OAE-DS08-D2N1 from Rexroth is a 2AD Asynchronous servo motor in which the rotor and the stator rotate at two different speeds hence the name Asynchronous. This motor has a speed rating of 1500 rotations per minute when operating under normal conditions and can go all the way up to 7500 rotations per minute peak speed even when using standard ball bearings. The motor has a frame size B and a diameter of 12 mm.
The motor has a winding designation of DS and has a winding resistance of 0.37 ohms which is very low when compared to other motor windings by different manufacturers. Having a low winding resistance is very beneficial as it helps dissipate less power into heat which not only makes the motor much more efficient but also helps it to output more power as only a minimum amount of losses are being made in terms of sound and heat. The motor comes with a radial blower fan which requires 230 volts AC to operate.
