Product Description:
The 2AD132B-B05OA1-BS03/S001 AC servo motor features a keyway feather design which allows it to easily connect the shaft of the motor to any rotating component such as gears in gearboxes. This shaft design makes it easy to transfer torque as it is balanced and prevents the shaft from breaking and bending due to heavy load. The motor can handle a torque of a maximum of 96 Nm which maintains a base speed of 1500 rotations per minute.
This motor requires a high voltage power supply as it runs on 17 volts AC to 258 volts AC and requires a current of 45 to 65 amperes which is a very high value considering the power and speed output of this motor. The motor has a power rating of 37.5 kW and a peak speed rating of 7500 rotations per minute. Using heavy duty bearings can allow this motor to achieve a speed of 10000 rpm which is great for when using in applications such as drilling or high speed friction welding. Since this motor is capable of reaching such high speeds, it is bound to make a lot of noise. However, Rexroth has done an excellent job by designing this motor to keep its noise level to 75 dB at a maximum distance of 1 meter.
To keep the lubricants from spilling, the 2AD132B-B05OA1-BS03/S001 features a shaft sealing ring that keeps the lubrication oil from pouring out as well as keeps the internals free from dust and moisture. The motor is designed to be IP 65-rated to protect it against low pressure (6.3mm) water jets and also scratches of up to 20 mm deep.
