The 2AD132B-B05OA1-BS01/S001 by Rexroth Bosch has bearings and a driven shaft for efficient rotation and production of torque. Due to their reduced EMF resistance, the thick bars are effective at low slip and provide good torque. Though torque is maintained, efficiency is decreased as the slip grows because of the skin effect, which also starts to raise resistance and decrease effective depth. When the rotor bars are at a standstill, a high-speed rotational magnetic field passes over them, causing line-frequency current to flow through them. The slip frequency drops and the generated current flows deeper into the winding as the motor runs.
