Rexroth’s 2AD motors provide flexible cooling options along with powerful loading capabilities. Commonly, Rexroth Bosch's 2AD motors come with axial cooling fans that facilitate surface cooling during operation. These mounted axial cooling fans extend the length of the motor and contribute to its heavier construction. Aside from axial fans, Rexroth Bosch’s 2AD motors may come with radial fans instead. Radial fans differ from axially mounted fans based on their placement along the motor. Whereas axially mounted fans are usually installed along the shaft’s axis, radially mounted fans are installed on a side perpendicular to the drive side.
