2AD motors by Bosch Rexroth are high-precision asynchronous motors with high output data. The 2AD104D-B05OB1-FS26-D2N1 is part of this series offering excellent smooth running and reliable performance. It is suited for use in high-accuracy applications such as printing presses, machine tools and packaging equipment. The motor has a frame size of 104 and a frame length of D. It has a compact space-saving design with a high power-to-weight ratio permitting use even in setups with space constraints. The motor has an axial blower for surface cooling of the motor to ensure efficient heat transfer from the motor. This prevents overload damage allowing the motor to handle high cyclic loads with ease and without overload damage.
The motor is versatile enough for use in harsh environments. It is sealed against damage from water and dust ensuring efficient performance even in adverse conditions where the motor may come into contact with different types of contaminants. For ease of installation, the motor is equipped for flange mounting and comes with electrical connectors on Side B of the unit. It is also equipped with a holding brake which ensures that the servo axes stay in place when the motor is powered off for a safe standstill.
