Bosch Rexroth asynchronous motors boast high precision and high throughput delivering reliable performance. The AD series of induction motors includes the 2AD104D-B05OB1-FS07-B2N1 motor with surface ventilation. These types of motors are suited for use as main spindle drives and servo drives in machine tools, printing presses and other high-precision applications. This model has a frame size of 104 and a frame length of D. It comes with a robust construction built for durability with IP 65 protection against moisture and solid contaminants such as dust. The motor is also equipped with temperature sensors located in the windings of the motor to monitor temperature for thermal protection of the unit. The motor is equipped with an axial blower for surface cooling enabling it to handle extreme loads.
To facilitate installation, this motor has a flange mounting style. It also comes equipped with connectors on Side B of the motor where power cables can be attached to the unit. The motors motor feedback is digital servo feedback with an integral multiturn encoder ensuring precise data on the rotor position and speed. The motor is equipped with a standard bearing, type code N, which is suited for medium to low axial loads. The unit has an output shaft with keyway, balanced with entire key. This model is not equipped with a holding brake.
The motor is optimized for high speeds and comes with a nominal speed rating of 1,500 min-1 and a maximum speed rating of 9,000 min-1. It is rated for a nominal torque of 64.0 Nm and a nominal current of 22.3 A. The motor performs optimally in ambient temperatures ranging from 0 to 45C. It is available with a one year warranty from Wake Industrial.
