The 2AD series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth consists of squirrel-cage induction motors such as the 2AD104D-B05OB1-FS06-E2N1. This type of motor is suited for use as a rotary main-spindle and servo-drive motor in applications such as metal-forming machine tools, printing presses, packaging equipment, and more. This motor has a frame size of 104 and a frame length of D. It comes equipped with an axial blower for surface ventilation of the unit. The blower cools the motor by blowing air from side B to side A of the unit.
