The 2AD104D-B05OAB-FS2D-D2N1 by Rexroth Bosch is a housed, squirrel cage induction motor. For a specific amount of electrical power input, the motor's squirrel cage rotor spins to produce mechanical torque as output. The squirrel cage structure is composed of short-circuited bars (copper or aluminum), a core and a shaft. The electric motor also includes a magnet and an armature, with one coupled to the stationary part and the other to the rotor. These motors are especially useful in conditions when the motor needs to start on its own, maintain a steady speed, or require minimal maintenance.
The 2AD104D-B05OAB-FS2D-D2N1 motor's most unique feature is its derating speed. Derating is a design technique that can significantly improve reliability.
