The 2AD100D-B05OB2-AS01-A2N2 is an asynchronous motor that operates with alternating current and is produced by well trained engineers of Bosch Rexroth Indramat. The motor is characterized by its unique feedback system that maintains a resolution as high as 1/2,000,000th revolutions, and an output shaft that can support high loads. Although, this asynchronous motor is suited to a broad range of industrial machines, it is particularly recommended for printing machines, reshaping machine packaging machines, and machine tools. The 2AD100D-B05OB2-AS01-A2N2 motor contains an axial air blower, this blower requires a voltage of about 230 volts, it also generates the air current that helps to keep the servo motor cool during operation.
The 2AD100D-B05OB2-AS01-A2N2 servo motor is without a holding brake, however it is still perfectly safe and fit for industrial applications.
