Product Description:
The 2AD100D-B05OA2-AS13-A2N1 is a Rexroth Indramat Asynchronous Motor Type in the 2AD Series. This D-length spindle motor comes with a motor size of 100. It is constructed in accordance with IEC 34-7 for flange mounting type. To use the flange mounting, a flat disk should be used in which various holes are drilled to place screws and bolts. The flat disk in this type of mounting ensures a smooth and secure surface for correct alignment with different equipment. The flange mounting offers a flexible connection as the device can be easily assembled or disassembled for maintenance or repair.
The power connector in this version for its external power supply is present on the top right side of this motor. An insulation resistance is adjusted and evaluated in accordance with EN 60204-1/1.92 regulations. Its axial fan consists of a central hub with the blades adjusted in a cylindrical manner around the motor. The airflow in this 2AD Series version is in the direction parallel to its rotatory shaft when the axial fan's blades start to rotate. The intake of air is from the front side of the axial fan and blowing out is toward the back. An 80 mm distance is the minimum recommendation between the blower of a 2AD series version and the machine.
A plain shaft is used without additional components such as sealing or spline. The standard bearing is appropriate for achieving maximum speed and low noise. However, these ball bearings won’t be able to tolerate high axial or radial loads. It’s important to grease the ball bearings from time to time to increase the life of this 2AD series spindle motor. An expired grease will fail this motor type and ball bearing because of the forced rotation.
