Product Description:
The 2AD100D-B05OA2-AS03-A2N1 is a D-length spindle motor manufactured by Indramat Motors. This motor of size 100 is from the 2AD series. It is developed according to IEC 34-7 for flange mounting (B05). For flange mounting, a smooth flat disk is used in which holes are drilled for screws and bolts. This flat disk ensures a secure and smooth surface for proper alignment with other equipment. This mounting provides flexible attachment as the component can be assembled or disassembled for repair or maintenance.
The connector for the external power supply is on the top right side of the motor. The insulation resistance is set and tested according to EN 60204-1/1.92 guidelines. The axial fan has a central hub, and the blades are arranged in a cylindrical manner around it. Air flows in the direction parallel to the rotatory shaft when the fan's blades begin to rotate, drawing air in from the front of the fan and blowing toward the back. The minimum recommended distance between the blower of 2 AD motors and the machine is 80 mm.
The plain driving shaft is used without any additional features like spline or sealing. The standard ball bearings are suitable for attaining low noise and maximum speed, but they cannot bear high radial or axial loads. The bearing must be greased from time to time, as it increases the life of the motor. The expired grease results in the failure of the motor and bearing due to forced rotation.
