Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth 2AD100D-B05OA1-AS03-D2N1/S003 is an AC motor that allows the users to use the motor as a servo motor or a spindle motor. This motor comes with a Multi-turn encoder that has a resolution of 2048 pulses on either side meaning for one complete rotation this motor will generate 2048 pulses for a 360-degree rotation allowing it to be controlled accurately with a supported motor controller. The encoder connection is available on side A which is on the top and the power connector is connected on the top as well. Both the encoder and the power connection wires have a crossectional area of 2.5mm making them durable and preventing wear and tear.
The motor can reach a maximum speed of 9000 rpm highest in the series. With a balanced shaft key design, this motor can be used for high radial load applications as the shaft is designed to be coupled with high-load devices with a coupler. When using this motor for high-load applications make sure to use heavy-duty bearings as they allow the motor to generate high rotational torque as well as high standstill torque. The motor has a one-way shaft only and does not have an extended shaft exiting out the side B of the motor with side A being the front of the motor.
When using the motor in Heavy-duty mode make sure to install this in an enclosure or install a sound-suppressing enclosure over the motor as it can get loud on the heavy-duty bearings making sounds of up to 115 dB. Under normal load and standard bearings, the motor is quite silent and only produces sounds of up to 70 dB.
