2AD100C-B05OB4-AS01-D2N1 is an industrial motor. It is produced by Bosch Rexroth. The motor is part of the 2AD product line. It supports feedback: motor feedback measures rotor position and signals it to the drive, which helps to regulate the speed and rotor position. Either flange or foot installation is available to help meet the demands of the varying installation requirements and conditions. The 2AD100C-B05OB4-AS01-D2N motor is only designed for flange mounting. Size of the flange on the motor is 192 millimeters. The flange has four mounting holes, each with a 14 millimeter diameter. 2AD asynchronous motors are maintenance free machines. The motor and its housing and covers are protected against contact with parts either moving or to which voltage is being applied, as well as against penetration by solid objects and water.
The motor has a shaft with key that is balanced with a full key. This shaft type is suited to take up torques that make low demands on the shaft-hub connection. The rotor is balanced with the key used in the shaft-hub assembly. A balanced, interconnecting part must be used. The keyway in the hub is not dependent upon the length of the key. An axial blower installed on the motor to increase air flow requires 115 Volts AC external power. Electrical power for the motor is supplied by the drive controller. The power connected is situated on the top side of the motor and points towards side B.
