2AD100C-B05OB2-AS03-A2N2 is a 2AD series asynchronous motor. It is developed by Bosch Rexroth and is ideally suited to applications such as packaging machines and reshaping machines. In conjunction with drive controllers, these motors feature a broad speed range, and, a broad speed range under field control of 1:6. The motor feedback measures rotor position and signals it to the drive. This regulates speed and rotor position. The motor is designed for flange mounting and supports multiple mounting positions (shaft pointed upwards, downwards, or sideways). Operators must not allow liquids (coolant, water, oil, etc.) to run into the motor along the output shaft. Even the use of a seal at the output shaft does not prevent liquids penetrating the motor. Operators must also prevent contamination by liquids penetrating the output shaft when attaching the motor.
The servo motor has a smooth shaft, which is ideal for friction-locked shaft-hub connections. The improved run quality and the backlash-free connection between shaft and the hub are a significant benefit of this recommended design. Operators should use tension sets, pressure sleeves or other similar elements to couple in belt disc, pinions, drive elements. The shaft on the 2AD100C-B05OB2-AS03-A2N2 does not include a shaft seal. The motor supports high-resolution feedback. The power connector is on top of the motor and points toward side B. An axial cooling fan enables surface cooling. Input voltage rating of the fan is 230 Volts AC. The 2AD100C-B05OB2-AS03-A2N2 motor performs as per manufacturer specifications when the ambient conditions comply with those recommended by Bosch. Motor operation outside these specifications leads to output derating and should be avoided. Any damage resulting from improper motor use voids the product warranty.
