Product Description:
2AD100C-B05OB1-AS13-D2N2/S003 is a digital servo motor. It is part of the 2AD product line from Bosch Rexroth. The motor delivers 5.5 kilowatts output power. The output torque rating is 35 Nm and the output current rating is 27 Amps. Output voltage of the motor is 168 Amps. The motor operates at 1500 RPM nominal speed, but can reach shaft speeds of up to 9000 RPM. Thermal time constant, a parameter used to describe the response time of a thermal system to changes in temperature, for the motor is 40 minutes. Operators must use electrical wiring with at least 4 mm2 cross section when making connections to the motor terminals. During operation the average sound pressure level produced by the motor – when measure at a distance of 1 meter from the motor - is 70 dB. Ambient temperature in the operating environment should be between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius.
Higher ambient temperature will cause output derating. The installation site elevation must be between 0 and 1000 meters. Motor operation at higher elevations will lead to output derating. The 2AD100C-B05OB1-AS13-D2N2/S003 motor supports several features including high-performance motor feedback, a shaft with key and seal, axial blower, electrically-engaged holding brake and support for flange mounting. Size of the motor flange is 192 x 192 millimeters. The shaft is balanced with a full key, which reduces vibrations and ensures improved performance. External voltage supply requirement of the cooling fan is 230 Volts AC. The power connection is on top of the motor housing, towards side B of the motor. Motor installation by trained personnel is the best way to ensure error-free and proper installation, reduce wiring errors and minimize the risk of injuries to personnel.
