The 2AD100C-B05OA2-AS23-B2N1 is a model of the compact induction motors in the 2AD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has several features designed to enhance its operational reliability, such as its squirrel-cage rotor. This rotor generates strong magnetic fields and a high starting torque necessary for the motor’s optimum operation. It has a moment of inertia of 0.021 kgm2. The absence of brushes and slip rings in the rotor also reduces the need for maintenance and noise generation during the motor’s operation. Heat elimination during the operation of this 2AD model is via surface cooling. It works with an axial blower whose air currents travel over the motor’s surface, guided by shrouds.
