Its 2AD motors are asynchronous motors used to build intelligent drive solutions with high power density and open functions. They are used in machine tools, metal-forming machines, and printing machines.
The 2AD100C-B05OA1-AS01 is a model of the 2AD servo motors with a base speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute. Its frame design allows installation per flange mounting to meet the demands of the varying installation requirements and conditions. It is enclosed in a housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, according to DIN 40 050, meaning it is safe from contact with parts, either moving or to which voltage is being applied. This housing is also touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to water jets from different directions. Cooling is achieved via an axial blower in this 2AD motor with the air stream going from side B to side A. The air stream is fed over its surface via air baffles to absorb the heat generated during the motor’s operation. It is equipped with NTC thermistors in its windings to monitor its temperature and prevent damage due to overheating.
There are lifetime-lubricated bearings in the 2AD100C-B05OA1-AS01 with a mechanical service life of 20,000 operating hours.
