The 1MS160F-4D-A1/S010 is a synchronous 1MB kit spindle stator designed by Rexroth indramat to operate a drive-in motor-driven spindle. This device is a new-generation controller; it is manufactured with high metal content and can withstand harsh operating conditions. The stator is placed between grease-lubricated ball bearings; this special arrangement provides the motor with high rigidity and the ability to meet the operation requirements of a wide range of industrial production machines such as grinding and milling machines transfer lines, machining centers, metal forming machines, and lots more. This stator is also manufactured according to the IP00 protection class, to prevent the interference of external solid and liquid substances, it should always be installed in an enclosure that meets at least the IP54.

The 1MS160F-4D-A1/S010 industrial synchronous spindle stator is designed with an IC3W7 water cooling mechanism; this unique temperature control mechanism allows industrial operators to install the stator in tight spaces without the risk of rapid over-heating. The stator also features a protective varnish which prevents the direct interaction between the housing of this device and liquid substances capable of causing the rapid deterioration of the stator. The rated current required by this stator is about 23.2 amperes; at this current, the stator can stimulate the rotor to rotate at a speed of 2500 revolutions per minute while generating a rated power output of about 12.5 kilowatts.

The maximum permissible ambient temperature at which this stator can be operated is about 40 degrees Celsius; this stator generates a leakage current of about 3.5 milliamperes during operation, to prevent electrical accidents, it should be securely grounded before it is switched on for operation.
