This layout supports compact spindle housings and leaves more freedom for custom bearing, sleeve, and coolant arrangements around the active parts. Because the stator is supplied separately, the surrounding mechanical package can be matched to machine layouts that require high rotational speed, tight installation space, and stable thermal behavior.

Thermal control is provided by liquid cooling, and the stator body uses an aluminum cooling jacket to transfer heat from the windings to the coolant path. Heat is carried away from the winding area through the coolant circuit, which helps maintain operating stability during sustained spindle use.
